What Should I Do?
Kayla ran away from Elliot crying, she didn't know where to run, but she wanted to go as far away as she could, she ran past Nikki when she was going home, she ran and ran to her favorite place ever in the whole city, the old abandoned mansion at the edge of town. There she sat and cried her eyes out, "How am I supposed to be with him when I have such a big secret, what am I supposed to do?" All of a sudden Minna popped out, "Alien, alien, be careful Kayla, transform" she said. Then Kayla heard a voice,
"Well well, is the little protector crying!!!"The voice said, she looked up and saw a boy in all green
"I imagine she is!" said another voice, beside him appeared a girl in pink, "What are we to do, I hope she can still fight........."
"Just get away!!!" She preached.
"Aren't we a little testy today? Poor baby, I hope I didn't hurt your feelings, did I? That would be bad."
Together the two voices began to laugh at what one of them had said. Minna was going crazy trying to tell Kayla to run or transform, or get out before they try to get her and stuff like that but did she listen, no. All she was worried about was Elliot and what he had asked her. "Who are you? leave me alone," she cried.
"My name is Kaji" said the green one.
"And I'm Spry" said the pink one.
"Great, introductions are done, now, JUST LEAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!" Kayla yelled!
"Won't you invite us in?" said Kaji.
"NO, NOW GET AWAY FROM ME!!!!" she yelled again.
"Well," said Spry, "how rude, Kaji, why don't we show her what we do to people to disrespect us."
"Sure, let's, GO, DEMON BERRA" All of a sudden a huge red bear emerged, its eyes shot lasers, and its arms poured out acidic poison, "I should have listened to Minna," said Kayla, with a little fright in her voice, "well the past is over, PROTECTOR EARTH, TRANSFORM!" once again Kayla transformed, "POWER W..." she was interrupted by the bear, who knocked her over, Kayla was pushed aside and got hurt pretty bad.
Meanwhile, while Nikki was searching for Kayla, she got a call on her broach, it was Mark, "Nikki, Kayla is in trouble, transform and go to the old abandoned mansion,"
"Right," said Nikki, "PROTECTOR AQUA, TRANSFORM!"
"AHH, HELP, SOMEBODY? NIKKI SAVE ME!" screamed Kayla. When the monster had her cornered and he had his hand came crashing down on top of her, when Nikki saw what was happening she screamed, "BUBBLES AQUA RIBBON" and the giant bear was knocked aside, The aliens looked, "Who's there?" asked Spry.
"I'm Protector Aqua," said Nikki, "and that's my friend you're messing with."
"Oh boo-hoo, do you want to join in on the fun, we're just getting started," said Kaji. Nikki and Kayla started to attack while the demon pointed its laser at them and shot the acid at them, all the time Kayla noticed something, "Nikki, I have an idea, look at the bear, do you notice that it experiences pain on its left side whenever it walks, I think that's where you hit it, try and attack it from there and I'm sure we'll defeat it"
"Ok, whatever you say, I'm with ya," said Nikki, "let's go." they split to distract the enemy, Nikki pulled out her Water Chain, and Kayla got her Power Wand, "NOW" Kayla called out.
"BUBBLES AQUA RIBBON"
"EARTH FLASH POWER" and as quickly as it came the monster disappeared faster.
"NO,!" growled Kaji, "We'll never forget this," and they went away.
"Yes! We did it," Nikki cried, "we make a really good team, don't we Kayla? Kayla?" Nikki looked and saw that Kayla had already changed back and she was sitting and sulking, "Yeah, great, I'm really happy"
"What happened Kayla, I saw you crying earlier, are you ok? Do you feel sick?" asked Nikki.
"No, I'm fine," answered Kayla.
"Then, what happened?" Nikki asked, then Kayla told her what had happened between her and Elliot, "If this is what you wanted then you should go for it, I'm sure you can keep one secret, I think that it could work out with you two, especially if you both are ready and ok with it."
"But what if we're doing something together and an alien comes up?" asked Kayla, "Then what am I supposed to tell him?"
"If he really loves you then he'll understand when you tell him you have to do something important, and soon, when you can really trust him, maybe then we can ask Mark and Lewis if we can let him in on the secret," Kayla's smile came back to her face, and she wiped away the tears, "Thanks Nikki, you really helped me," she said,"Now I know exactly what I'm going to do." and she ran off.
Kayla went all the way to the Fountain Gardens and called up Elliot from there, she heard the phone ring a few times before she could hear his voice "Hello? This is Elliot."
"Hi, this is Kayla, listen, I'm sorry about what happened earlier today, but, I was wondering if you would be able to meet me at Fountain Gardens right now?"
"Sure, I'll be there right away. and...don't worry about what happened, it's ok." said Elliot with a little sadness in his voice.
"Great, bye." "bye, see you." Kayla hung up and she couldn't help but squeal in joy, things were working out well in her favor.
