Twins!
The next day at school Kayla came to school extremely tired,
"*Groan*, I hate my life," she said. Nikki and Lola came up to her,
"What's wrong Kayla?" asked Lola.
"Nothing, it's just that," she started to talk softer, "Since we had to fight the monster yesterday after school and since because of that we had to stay late and work and clean up, I didn't get my homework done, so I had to stay up late to finish it."
"Wow, that really stinks, but it's better than what I did, I just did it this morning," said Nikki.
"I didn't have homework, the teacher said that it didn't matter since we're starting a new unit next week," said Lola.
"Lucky, I'm so mad, I hate you, I'm not talking to you?" said Kayla.
"Yeah, don't talk to me," said Nikki.
"Well," said Lola jokingly. All three of them started laughing, then the bell rang and everyone sat down, then the teacher walked in, "Class, we have another addition to our class," a girl walked in, "this is Diane, she transferred classes, so she will be with us, Diane, you can sit next to Nikki." Diane walked and sat down next to Nikki, "Wow, I think this is the year of new kids,"Kayla whispered to Lola andNikki then the class started.
After class Kayla walked over to Lola and Nikki, "Man, I can't believe we have to go to work everyday, this stinks," she said.
"You know, for someone who fights evil on a regular basis, and gets paid to do it plus work at a cafe that gives the workers free sweets, you sure complain a lot," said Lola.
"Yeah Kayla, just have fun with it," said Nikki.
